Congratulations on your engagement! I'm Mira, and I'm so honored you're considering me for your wedding day.
This guide is meant to go beyond my website it's the planning details, timeline guidance, and prep tips I
actually walk my couples through once we start working together. My hope is that by the time your wedding day arrives, you're not thinking about the camera at all — just living the day, while I capture it exactly as it felt.
WHAT TO EXPECT WORKING WITH ME
1. We connect
You reach out, and we talk through your date, your vision, and which collection fits best — no pressure, just a
conversation.
2. We lock in your date
Once you're ready, I send a contract and collect a retainer to officially hold your date on my calendar.
3. We plan together
In the months leading up to your wedding, I check in to help build your day-of timeline, talk through must-have
shots, and answer anything that comes up. You're never left guessing.
4. Your engagement session
If your collection includes one, this is where we get comfortable in front of the camera together before the big
day — it makes wedding-day portraits feel completely natural.
5. Your wedding day
I show up early, stay out of the way when I need to, and step in when it matters. I don't direct or pose — I watch,
wait, and capture the truth of the day as it unfolds.
6. Delivery
Sneak peeks land in your inbox within 48 hours. Your full gallery follows within a few weeks, ready to relive for
the rest of your lives.
How I communicate
I'm responsive and easy to reach throughout the entire process. If your schedule shifts or plans change, just let
me know, I'd rather adjust than have you stress over it.

Shot List Guidance
You never need to hand me a shot-by-shot list, but it helps me to know your priorities in these categories:
— Getting ready — who should be in the room, any sentimental items (jewelry, a parent's letter, a family
heirloom)
— Details — rings, invitation suite, shoes, bouquet, dress/suit, perfume/cologne bottle
— Family formals — a specific list of combinations, especially for blended families or relatives who won't be
there long
— Candid priorities — first dance, a grandparent's reaction, kids in the wedding party, a specific friend group
— Anything off-limits — a moment or person you'd rather I not photograph, if any
PACKING & PREP CHECKLIST
For Detail Shots — Have Ready Before Coverage Starts
— Rings (both partners' bands + engagement ring)
— Invitation suite / save-the-date
— Shoes and any special jewelry
— Perfume or cologne bottle
— Vows, if handwritten
— A meaningful item — grandmother's handkerchief, a love letter, a family bible, etc.
Day-Of Emergency Kit (or ask your planner to keep one nearby)
— Safety pins, fashion tape, and a small sewing kit
— Blotting papers and a travel-size touch-up kit
— Stain remover pen
— Bobby pins and hairspray
— Mints or gum
— Phone charger
A Few Reminders
— Let your wedding party know coverage start and end times in advance so no one is caught off guard.
— Point me toward your planner or a designated contact for day-of schedule questions — one point of
contact keeps everything smooth.
— Trust the process — the best moments usually happen when you stop performing for the camera and just
live the day.
