Hi, I'm Mira
That’s actually a nickname — one that found me naturally through my clients, and one I kept because it felt right. But the story behind it goes a little deeper than that.
Mira is a Spanish word. It means look. And growing up, whenever the women in my family would come across a photo that truly moved them, you’d hear it — ”¡Mira qué bonito!” or ”¡Mira, qué bonita foto!” — said with that kind of warmth that only the women who raised you can give. My grandma still says it to this day.
So when the name Studio Mira came to be, it felt like more than a business name. It felt like a little nod to my Mexican roots, to the women who taught me to stop and truly look at something beautiful, and to the reason I picked up a camera in the first place.
The heart behind Studio Mira Photography. My love for photography began when my daughter was born; she became my muse and inspired me to capture life’s most meaningful moments. Through her, I discovered the beauty of emotion in its truest form, the laughter, the quiet in-betweens, and the kind of love that tells a story.
My approach is intentional, refined, and rooted in genuine connection. I believe your experience should feel effortless, present, and filled with joy, not just beautifully documented, but truly felt.
